In order to mitigate the socio economic impacts of the pandemic, in cooperation with the Government of Japan, UNIDO has been strengthening the capacity of both technology providers and stakeholders in partner countries since 2020. Through this project, 12 useful Japanese technologies have contributed to improving the human health and hygiene environments of 10 countries in Africa and Asia.
The event brings together multiple stakeholders, including Japanese private companies and partners on site, who will share their experiences and ideas.
UNIDO’s Investment and Technology Promotion Office, Tokyo (ITPO Tokyo) used its unique “Sustainable Technology Promotion Platform (STePP)”to mobilize 12 Japanese companies, and ensure effective and fast transfer of technology. The webinar will provide food for thought on the role of ITPO, and how to benefit from their potential.
