Reception in honor of Outgoing COPUOS Chairman Dr. Yasushi Horikawa

On 11 June 2014, on the first day of the fifty-seventh session of the Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (COPUOS), a reception in honor of Outgoing COPUOS Chairman Dr. Yasushi Horikawa (Special Assistant to the Minister for Foreign Affairs) was held at the Vienna International Centre (VIC), hosted by Ambassador Mr. Toshiro Ozawa. Around 140 persons from delegations as well as international organizations and other bodies participated in this reception.
Ambassador Mr. Ozawa and Dr. Horikawa made remarks, expressing gratitude for many supports extended by delegations and Office for Outer Space Affairs (OOSA) for the chairmanship of Dr. Horikawa, and also calling upon delegations to succeed his achievements.
