Thank you, Mr. Chair,
Japan welcomes the adoption of the draft resolution proposed by Canada and Poland. Japan voted for this draft resolution with its conviction that this resolution will contribute to address the strong condemnation and grave concerns expressed in our previous statement yesterday.
Japan once again calls on the Russian Federation to immediately cease all activities preventing the competent Ukrainian Authorities from fully controlling over all nuclear facilities and material within its internationally recognized borders, so that Ukraine can ensure their safe and secure operations.
